GIVING BACK

Here at Women Have Vision we want to make a difference: to ourselves, to you and to the world. Which is why we have a policy of Giving Back.

We have links to several charitable organizations. Each of our for profit training programmes (coming soon) is linked to a non-profit initiative. So by investing in yourself, you are not only creating a better, more successful and happier life for yourself and those around you, at the same time you are helping to support women and their children in developing nations around the world.

Here are our current partners:

Women For Women International

Women For Women International do amazing work in supporting women in war zones. They work in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Congo, Sudan amongst others, helping women whose husbands have often been killed and who now have no means of supporting themselves or their children.

Women For Women Trek 2011 at Everest Base Camp

What drew us to this particular charity was the fact that they don’t just throw money at the problem, instead they put women through an educational programme, teaching them a practical skill which they can use to earn a living. So they are investing in women… Just like us.

We have been working in partnership with Women for Women International for several years now. Every autumn Sue organises a fundraising trek to Everest Base Camp. Having climbed Everest herself in 2004 Sue knows the route to the Base Camp pretty well! This is one of the world’s most famous and spectacular treks and taking on this challenging is always life-changing. When you are doing something like this you can only be the person you were born to be…you can’t hide from yourself – so it’s perfect for anyone wanting to live a more intuitive life! And for anyone who wants to Give Back themselves. Just click on this link to find out more about trekking in the Himalaya.

“Arrived home thursday back to reality, could just turn round and go straight back. We both had a really wonderful time. The trip exceeded our expectations and we cannot thank you enough for making this possible, you have been an inspiration to us both.” Ally and Mandy   April 2010

“Well I find it difficult to believe that here I am in my office, suffering from a serious case of post Himalaya blues, & the trip to Nepal has been & gone. But what amazing memories we have & what a fantastic experience the whole journey was. Sincere thanks from Josh & myself for your leadership over the trip & allowing us to gather all sorts of information from your experiences in the Nepal.” Nigel and Josh   April 2011

“Thank you so much Sue. It was a truly amazing experience and I’m so glad I met you and went on this incredible journey with you.”  Love Jackie xx   October 2011

Hi Sue, I wanted to thank you for organising this amazing trek to the Everest Base Camp. It was a fantastic trip and I really enjoyed it. It meant a lot to me to do this in association with fundraising for Women for Women. It was very special.”  Hugs and Namaste, Jeri   October 2012

Magic Bus

Magic Bus is a fabulous charity in India which I am just getting to know. They mentor children from some of the poorest backgrounds, lifting them out of poverty and giving them self-belief and the power to define their own destiny. At present this charity is partnered with Moments of Bliss but will also be partnered with my on-line courses (arriving soon). 10% of every purchase of Moments of Bliss will go to Magic Bus. www.magicbus.org
